MAYOR NEIL LIZARES STATEMENT:This is to inform everyone that the New Talisay City Hall will be closed on April 12 and 13, 2021. This is in line with the recent news that an employee assigned to the Talisay Public Market tested positive for Covid-19. Since the result of the preliminary contact tracing showed that the said employee was able to go to the New Talisay City Hall and made contact with some employees, a thorough disinfection is needed and a stringent contact tracing must be made.

While the New Talisay City Hall will not be available for transactions on these days, the city assures you that this is for the greater good and safety of the public.

Business will proceed as usual once disinfection and contact tracing are done and the results of the swab tests of employees who had close contact with the patient are already available.
