Talisay City Mayor Neil Lizares expressed his gratitude to the Metro Bacolod Junior Chamber International (JCI) for conducting a free legal aid service for the residents of Talisay City on September 5, 2023, at the Talisay City Public Plaza.

The legal aid service was headed by Metro Bacolod JCI President Atty. Thalia dela Cruz and was attended by several lawyers who volunteered their time and expertise to help the Talisaynons with their legal concerns.

Mayor Lizares said that the free legal aid service is a valuable initiative that will help empower the Talisaynon community with legal knowledge. He also commended the Metro Bacolod JCI for their commitment to serving the people of Talisay.

"This is a remarkable initiative that not only provides legal assistance to our residents, but also demonstrates the spirit of unity and support that defines our city," said Mayor Lizares. "I am grateful to the Metro Bacolod JCI for their dedication to helping our community."

The free legal aid service was also attended by former JCI officers, including Atty. Weng Lizares, the sister of Mayor Lizares. Atty. Weng is also the City Administrator of Talisay City.

The event was a success, and many Talisaynons were able to get the legal assistance they needed. Mayor Lizares thanked the Metro Bacolod JCI for their continued support of the Talisaynon community.
