MAYOR NEIL LIZARES III MESSAGE
August 1, 2020
I am once again asking for your cooperation and prayers as I inform you all that we have Patient No. 21.
Patient No. 21 is a 60 year-old female who came from Manila through the Hatid Tulong Program. She was one of the thousands who stayed at the Rizal Memorial Stadium as they waited to be sent back home. Patient No. 21 is now at the quarantine facility for healing and strict monitoring.
The number of Covid 19 positive cases in our city is rising. Now is not the time to be complacent. We have to be most careful as the cases are not only confined to OFWs and LSIs but we now have local cases as shown in the data of Patient Nos. 15 to 20.
Patient No. 15 is a returning OFW. Fortunately, the patient never step foot at Talisay as he was under the supervision of OWWA.
Patient No. 16 is a 24 year-old male. He is an LSI as is now at the EB Magalona Healing Center.
Patient No. 17 is a 35 year-old male and a health worker.
Patient No. 18 is 3 year-old male. He is the son of Patient nos. 6 and 7. He is now at the EB Magalona Healing Center.
Patient No. 19 is a 39 year-old female. She was a frontliner who was exposed to Patient No. 17.
Patient No. 20 is a 47 year-old female. She is an LSI and is now at the EB Magalona Healing Center.
Uncertainties haunt us everyday as we live through this pandemic. If there are things that we can be sure of, these are the ideas that we can limit the spread of the virus by being vigilant and cooperative. Let us limit our time outside of our homes, practice proper handwashing, proper wearing of facemasks, and strict physical distancing. Let us help ourselves, one another, and our city survive. Let us heal as one.
