Php1.05M Seed Fund for Talisaynon Pantawid Graduates

Mayor Neil Lizares extends his gratitude to theDepartment of Social Welfare and Development, Field Office VI for extending their assistance to our Talisaynon 4Ps Graduates through their Sustainable Livelihood Program.
A total of Php1.05M capital seed fund, Php750K of which came from the DSWD-SLP and the Php300K from the city's counterpart is turned over today, September 30, to the 2 chapter clusters of 51 Talisaynon 4Ps graduates at the City Mayor's Office.
The said amount will serve as the seed capital fund for the proposed Laundry Shop Business of the beneficiaries. The project will be closely monitored by the City Social Welfare and Development Office and reports will be submitted to the Regional Office to make sure that the business maintains its operations and sustainability.
The checks were received by Mary Ann Clanog, President, Livelihood Association of Pantawid Graduates-Chapter 2 and Flor Arevalo, President, Livelihood Association of Pantawid Graduates- Chapter 1.
The turn over of checks to the beneficiaries was witnessed by Asst. City Administrator Ismael Penado, CSWDO Head, Dionela Madrona, Community Affairs Officer, Marlyn Simondo, Jennifer Donguines, PDO Il, Emily A Bacaoco, Provincial Coordinator Negros Occidental, Argentina Basoy, PDO II Gerome Garbo, City Action Team Leader, Ellyn Quizan and Annie Sanz of the CSWDO.
