Mayor Neil Lizares and Vice Mayor Nic Jalandoni, alongside the Talisay City Nutrition Committee, convened for their 1st Quarter Meeting on March 20 at the Mayor’s Conference Room to discuss key updates and strategies for the city's nutrition programs.
Key topics included:
- Updates on Talisay City's ongoing nutrition programs
- Presentation of the Enhanced Operation Timbang Plus (EOPT Plus) 2024 and plans for 2025
- Review of the city’s vision, mission, and nutrition goals
- Introduction of newly approved nutrition policies by the Sangguniang Panlungsod
- Formulation of the Local Nutrition Action Plan (LNAP) aligned with the updated PPAN from the DILG
The meeting was led by Asst. City Administrator Ismael Penado, with Talisay Nutrition Officer Gemma Gonzaga, and attended by representatives from the City Health Office, Talisay DepEd, CPDO, TCDRRMO, and the Agriculture Office—all working together to ensure that nutrition programs remain impactful and sustainable.
