Talisay City Holds Orientation-Workshop on RA 9904, IRR for FEDERATION of HOAs

Mayor Neil Lizares through the Talisay City Housing Authority, led by Executive Assistant Boy Maramba in partnership with the Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development, Office of 3rd District Representative Kiko Benitez and Homeowners Association of Talisay City, conducted a 1 Day Workshop-Orientation on RA 9904 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) for the different Homeowners Association in the city, held today, November 21 at the Esteban Dela Rama Hall, Talisay City Hall, with an audience of 28 HOAs officers and members.
The activity aims to organize homeowners associations and register the existing ones. Furthermore, the workshop will introduce and explain to the attendees the salient features of RA 9904 as well as the Implementing Rules and Regulations for HOAs.
Asst. City Administrator Ismael Penado welcomed all the participants as well as the speakers for sharing their expertise and knowledge to all the participants.
The speakers for today's gathering are Celzar Almira, OIC, HOA and Community Development Division, DHSUD-Region VI, Аttу. May Castilo OIC-HSAC, RAB VI and Rulletha G. Dela Cruz HHRO IV, RAB VI.
To date, the City of Talisay has a total of five Homeowners associations with certified constituent members.
