Mayor Neil Lizares and the people of Talisay express their utmost gratitude and appreciation to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Office, headed by Secretary, Erwin Tulfo for including Talisay City as one of the recipients of the department's support to Bahay Pag-asa project in the province, said assistance kit will be utilized in the city's Balay Pasilungan Center, located in Sitio Baka-Baka, Barangay Dos Hermanas.

Today, the DSWD handed over support to Bahay Pag-asa Project in the form of Assistance Kit, turned over by ASec Elaine Fallarcuna, Assistant Secretary for Statutory Programs under Operations Group of the DSWD, received by Talisay CSWDO Head, Dionela Madrona during the kick off ceremony of the 11th Juvenile Justice and Welfare Consciousness Week, held at the Natures Village Resort, Barangay Zone 15, Talisay City.
