Talisay City Smart Imitative Continues
Mayor Neil Lizares with Asst. City Administrator, Ismael Penado meet with the researchers and lead project officers of the Technological University of the Philippines - Visayas and it's partner agency, the Department of Science and Technology - Advance Science Technology Institute (DOST-ASTI), for the latter's presentation of its 4 Plan Project dubbed as Smart City Initiative for Talisay City today at the City Mayor's Conference room.
The Smart City Initiative Project for the city include Network Backbone and Connectivity for Project 1, Flood Monitoring and Prediction for Project 2, Project 3 is on Air Quality Monitoring and Citizen Reporting and Notification for Project 4.
The initiatives will tackle the Centralized monitoring, Evaluation of connectivity and communication platform in the city and Monitoring of parameters in the urban areas as well as in the remote areas, correlating gathered data with tide level and creation of an analytical model for flood prediction and to create an advanced notification and implementation of flood prediction model with advance notification for citizens.
