Mark your calendars Talisaynons, on July 23, 2017(Sunday) EO 26 on smoking will be implemented in the city.

Implementation of the said EO will prohibit smoking in public and enclosed areas. Covered by the ban are centers of youth activity like playschools, preparatory, elementary and high schools, colleges and universities, youth hostels and recreational facilities for minors, elevators and stairwells, locations where hazards are present, within premises of public and private hospitals, medical, dental and optical clinics and food preparation areas.

Designated smoking areas should be established, properly marked and to be accompanied by graphic health warning pictures depicting the effects of smoking.

Non -compliant of the said EO will be penalized.
