On October 27, 2017, seventy five Talisaynon couples were binded as one in matrimony before Mayor Neil E. Lizares III in one of the biggest Kasalan Ng Bayan in the City of Talisay by the #gwapongaserbisyo. Said Kasalan ng Bayan 2017 is the culmination program of the 25th Celebration of Family Day with this year’s theme: “Tungo sa Maginhawa, Matatag at Panatag na Pamilyang Pilipino”.

Mayor Neil E Lizares III, the officiating officer left a short but meaningful message to all the couples and shared some techniques and advice to keep the fires of love burning and to have a happy and successful marriage.

Cakes, packed lunch with a pack of lechon and wedding souvenirs such as towels, scented candles in a glass and a box of cake were given away to all the couples courtesy of Mayor Neil Lizares III and SPM Zenia Astorga.

Best wishes and toasts were given, cakes were sliced and wines were shared and bouquets were tossed in the air capped the simple yet intimate wedding ceremony. *(Lunie Seneres)
