The City of Talisay's 8th Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) Committee on Ways and Means, Budget, Finance and Appropriations scheduled a marathon of budget hearings commencing today December 4 to 5, 2017 on the proposed Annual Budget for Calendar Year 2018 of the City of Talisay.

The Talisay SP called to the hearing the Local Chief Executive, Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, Local Finance Committee, department, section and various heads of the national offices to shed light, provide clarifications and justifications on issues and queries relative to the proposed Annual Budget of the City of Talisay for CY 2018, this is in prior to its approval and adoption by the SP.

The first scheduled hearing today was attended by no less than Mayor Neil E. Lizares III, and was presided by the SP Chairman on the Committee on Ways and Means, Budget, Finance and Appropriations Nicolai Jalandoni and Vice Chairman Zenia Astorga.
