Talisay City Receives DILG RISE Program Incentive for a Forward-Thinking Initiative for Innovation

Mayor Neil Lizares through Asst. City Administrator and concurrent City of Talisay Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office Head, Ismael Penado proudly accept the Php250K seed fund incentive for Talisay City, for its the Balay Kalubihan: Talisay City’s Integration of the Coconut Industry with Agri-Tourism, recognized as one of the finalists for Best Local Economic Development Business Plan by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

This significant achievement reflects the city's commitment to innovative urban development and sustainable growth especially the local farmers.

The funds from this program will be instrumental in realizing Talisay City's winning business plan, the Balay Kalubihan. With this injection of fund, the city can enhance and stimulate, local entrepreneurship and foster a thriving economic ecosystem.

From revitalizing community spaces to supporting small businesses, this initiative underscores Talisay City's dedication to building a prosperous and vibrant future for its residents.
