Talisaynon Patients to Avail Free Major, Minor Surgeries from “Nikki Cares of BBB Foundation”
Posted October 16, 2017
Friday the 13th of October, 38 Talisaynon patients with medical cases needing major surgery were screened at the Teresita Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City. Among the 38 cases, 18 patients passed the screening and were scheduled for their respective surgeries. The remaining 20 patients whose medical cases did not meet the need for surgery were given free medication for their treatment.
Mayor Neil E. Lizares III extended his assistance to the Talisay City Health Office headed by City Health Officer Dr. Joy Gladys Guanzon and to all the patients and their families who underwent their screening for the Surgical Mission subsidized by Nikki Cares of the BBB Foundation.
#gwapongaserbisyo provided service vehicles for the mobility of the patients and Talisay City Health staff from Talisay City to Teresita Jalandoni Provincial Hospital and food packs were delivered for their lunch.
On November 28, 2017, about 60 more patients from Talisay City will undergo free minor operations at the Teresita Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City. Big thanks to Nikki Cares of the BBB Foundation and Congressman Albee Benitez for sponsoring such benevolent undertaking and to Mayor Neil E. Lizares III for all the support extended.
