SAINT John's Institute of Bacolod City, with its strong affiliation with its Chinese-Filipino benefactors, broadens its foothold in continuously carrying out its mission to educate the younger generation of Chinese-Filipino learners with the ground breaking of the new SJI North Point Academic Building and providing them with a better opportunity to engage in sports with the newly-inaugurated Luis T. Ong Sports Pavilion and SJI Swimming Center located at its North Point campus in Talisay City on October 20, 2019.

Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson, Rep. Jose Francisco Benitez (Neg. Occ., 3rd District) and Mayor Neil Lizares distributed Negros Occidental Health Care Program (NOCHP) cards to 2,327 more indigents in Talisay City yesterday.

The NOCHP beneficiaries are entitled to free hospitalization and health-related services offered by government hospitals in Negros Occidental.

Talisay tops 3rd district ‘Food Product Olympic’

Talisay City emerged as the local government unit with the most winners in the 3rd District elimination of the Best Food Product Olympic of the Provincial Federation of Rural Improvement and 4H Clubs, sponsored by the province of Negros Occidental, and held in Murcia yesterday.

The contest was joined by 15 participants from the towns and cities of the 3rd District namely Silay, Talisay, Victorias, EB Magalona, and Murcia.
