City of Talisay Barangay Clean-Up Starts with Grass Cutting in Magsaysay Road

From the area of the Talisay Public Cemetery up to the vicinity of Fatima Subdivision, all-the-way up to Barangay Matab-ang, Talisaynons will soon notice a cleaner and wider road as a clear-up and grass cutting drive has been started by the personnel of the Solid Waste Management Office under the direction of Engineer Warren Paduano and Executive Assistant Jerray Bagtas.

Fresh from a succesful alumni homecoming last July 30, 2017, the ICT Talisay Computer Training Center celebrated its 39th Graduation Exercises at the Dela Rama Hall, Talisay City Hall today, with the theme "Educating the minds of our Youth as well as Educating Their Hearts".

New Medical Equipment for a Better and Improved Medical Service for Every Talisaynon

Mayor Neil E. Lizares turned over medical equipments for the use of Barangays Matab-ang, Cabatangan, Efigenio Lizares and Bubog. Each Barangay Health Center in the mentioned barangays were given 1 unit of Fetal Doppler and a medicine cabinet. With these equipment, better services will be provided to all pregnant mothers in the said barangays. In addition, new medical equipment will also be provided for a better and well equipped birthing facility in Barangay Concepcion, listed to be one of the priority projects under the Department of Health - BUB Funded projects in the City of Talisay.

For the second year in a row, Talisay City, once again home of this year’s CISV International Camp in Negros, hosted 72 youth delegates from 13 countries at the CICM Mission Seminary, Barangay Zone 15, Talisay.
