Pre-Minuluan Festival Exhibit and Trade Fair Opens

The Pre-Minuluan Festival Exhibit and Trade Fair opened yesterday afternoon at The District North Point in Talisay City, which serves as a prelude to the opening of the Minuluan Festival, scheduled for Friday, September 8.

The second pre-Minuluan Festival exhibit and trade fair opened yesterday at The District Ayala North Point in Talisay City, Negros Occidental, and will run until Sunday, a press release from the city said.

This is a prelude to the 3-day 18th Minuluan Festival that will start on Friday.

The Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Talisay approved in its 60th regular session Resolution 2017-120 approving the annual investment plan (AIP) for calendar year 2018 amounting to P 2,694,718,282.09


Those present in the committee hearing were SPMs Nicolai Jalandoni Zenia Astorga, Edmundo Celiz, Gabriel Villacin, Russo Fregil and members of the City Local Finance Committee chaired by Talisay City Mayor Neil E. Lizares.

The City of Talisay Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee on Health and Nutrition, with Committee Chairman Sangguniang Panglunsod Member (SPM) Randy Ereñeta led the public hearing on the proposed ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING SMOKING OF TOBACCO CIGARETTES IN ALL PUBLIC PLACES AND PUBLIC UTILITY VEHICLES OPERATING IN THE CITY OF TALISAY, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF" today, at the Talisay City Public Plaza.
