Talisay City Mayor Neil Lizares III takes on the initial phase of his administration’s rural street lighting program which is specifically intended for the upland barangays piloting the unlighted streets of Hda. Sagrado 1, Barangay Zone 16 of this city. Lizares aims to install electrical/lamp posts in this community which has suffered the inconvenience of dark roads and pathways making them vulnerable to road mishaps and criminalities.

Then gloomy and hot weather did not prevented the Red Team composed of the Mayor, Accounting, Local Civil Registrar, Market and SlaughterHouse, Assessor, City Administration, City Legal, Local School Board, and Human Resource and Management and the Executive Assistant’s Offices spearheaded the giving of services to the residents of the said Hacienda.

"Intensify police visibility," this is the marching order of Mayor Neil Lizares to Talisay Philippine National Police Deputy Chief of Police Superintendent Joseth Catonina who personallly manned the checkpoint with Investigation Section Chief SPO4 Santiago Cabangal during a random police check point in Barangay Matab-ang this afternoon.

There are no so-called holidays for members of the Talisay City Philippine National Police (PNP) who were at Barangay Matab-ang late this afternoon, near the Talisay Townheights (Triad) conducting an intensified police checkpoint to carry out the marching order of Mayor Neil Lizares to improve police visibility and to promote overall peace and order and safety in the city.
