City of Talisay Kasalan Ng Bayan 2017: A Journey of Love and Lifetime Commitment

On October 27, 2017, seventy five Talisaynon couples were binded as one in matrimony before Mayor Neil E. Lizares III in one of the biggest Kasalan Ng Bayan in the City of Talisay by the #gwapongaserbisyo. Said Kasalan ng Bayan 2017 is the culmination program of the 25th Celebration of Family Day with this year’s theme: “Tungo sa Maginhawa, Matatag at Panatag na Pamilyang Pilipino”.

Talisaynon Patients to Avail Free Major, Minor Surgeries from “Nikki Cares of BBB Foundation”

Friday the 13th of October, 38 Talisaynon patients with medical cases needing major surgery were screened at the Teresita Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City. Among the 38 cases, 18 patients passed the screening and were scheduled for their respective surgeries. The remaining 20 patients whose medical cases did not meet the need for surgery were given free medication for their treatment.

Punong Barangay Jude Abellana with Barangay Kagawads Ponciano Pascual, Renato Pascual, Boyet Pascual, Mansueto Pascual, Jr. and Merlita Serapio laid down some of their predicaments and asked for the city’s assistance in resolving such.
