Talisay City Launched Supplemental Feeding Program

Mayor Neil E. Lizares III with wife, Atty. Rowena Lopez Lizares gracing today's launching of the Supplemental Feeding Program of the City of Talisay. The P1.2 Million pesos project is set to benefit 667 underweight children aging 2 to 5 years old from the 27 barangays in the city. The city's counterpart for the said program is P240,000.00 comprising the 20% allocation of the program and the remaining P960,000.00 or the 80% allocation is funded by the national government.

Talisay City Mayor Neil Lizares III takes on the initial phase of his administration’s rural street lighting program which is specifically intended for the upland barangays piloting the unlighted streets of Hda. Sagrado 1, Barangay Zone 16 of this city. Lizares aims to install electrical/lamp posts in this community which has suffered the inconvenience of dark roads and pathways making them vulnerable to road mishaps and criminalities.

Today, September 25, 2017 is RED Team’s turn to “MAKE A DIFFERENCE “ as they all come together to give back to the community in their Outreach program in observance of this years’ 117th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary. Then gloomy and hot weather did not prevented the Red Team composed of the Mayor, Accounting, Local Civil Registrar, Market and SlaughterHouse, Assessor, City Administration, City Legal, Local School Board, and Human Resource and Management and the Executive Assistant’s Offices spearheaded the giving of services to the residents of the said Hacienda.
