Reclamation Project Moving Forward to Fast Track the Investment and Economic Climate in Talisay

Mayor Neil Lizares III is laying the ground work and foundation on the Talisay Reclamation Project only two weeks after the initial meeting brokered by Congressman Albee Benitez with the Philippine Reclamation Authority at the Pavilion Hotel in Bacolod City last July 13, 2017.

City Of Talisay Gave Recognition To 78 Talisaynon Blood Galloners: Ordinary Persons Doing Extraordinary Deed By Donating Blood

The City Government of Talisay recognizes the Heroic deeds of the so called “life line “providers also known as “Blood Galloners” (blood donors who donated blood ten times or a total of 4,000cc of blood) who consistently donated blood to save lives today, July 25, 2017 at Talisay Public Plaza. With this years’ Theme: “What can you do? Give Blood, Give Now, Give Often”, seventy eight (78) Talisaynon BLOOD GALLONERS were given due recognition and each of them were given certificate of appreciation in acknowledgment of their good deeds and concern for others. Objective of the recognition is to commend these voluntary blood donors who make up the foundation of safe blood supply. Furthermore it is also aimed in inspiring others to imitate those who freely and voluntarily offer a bit of themselves to those who are in need of blood. These Blood Galloners are the source of equitable and sustainable blood supply not just for the City of Talisay but in the province as well, where the need for blood supply is steadily increasing every year.

342 BARANGAY HEALTH WORKERS FROM THE DIFFERENT BARANGAYS IN THE CITY OF TALISAY UNDERGO THEIR FIRST ORIENTATION ON HEALTH AND NUTRITION.

In consonance with the celebration of Nutrition Month for this year, Talisay City Health Office headed by Dr. Joy Gladys Guanzon, M.D conducted the very first Health and Nutrition Orientation to 342 barangay Health Workers from the 27 barangays in the City, today July 24,2017 at the Dela Rama Hall.

HIGHWAY STEEL BARRIERS IN FRONT OF TALISAY PUBLIC MARKET GETS NEW MAKEOVER. INSTALLATION ASSISTED WITH THE TRAFFIC DIRECTIONAL WARNING SYSTEM FROM NEW TALISAY CDRRMO VEHICLE

Motorists and pedestrians passing in front of the Talisay Public Market will be greeted with the installation of a refurbished steel barrier or railings that will promote safety and improve visibility in the area especially during at night.

Talisay City Mayor Neil Lizares III met with Nikki Lopez Benitez to plan the groundwork for a major 3-day medical and surgical mission, to start November 9, at the Teresita Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City, Negros Occidental.

Close to a 50-man medical team from the Makati Medical Center Foundation, including surgeons and operating room nurses, will operate on major and minor cases, including thyroid, hernias, cleft lip and palate, gallbladder stones, OB gynecological cases such as ovarian cysts and small breast masses, among others, a press release from Talisay said.
