Mayor Neil Lizares, together with Vice Mayor Nicolai Jalandoni, warmly welcome all the beneficiaries and guests to the distribution of Presidential Assistance for Farmers, Fisherfolk, and Families who were severely affected by the El Niño Phenomenon in District III, and also extend their heartfelt thanks to the national government for their vital support, especially towards the 62 Talisaynon farmer beneficiaries of this initiative.

Experts Check Talisay City's Waste Management

Mayor Neil Lizares and Engr. Warren Paduano welcomed a group of experts to Talisay City to check how the city manages its trash and ensure compliance with RA9003, the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000. These experts came from different places and include Jimmy Cambarijon from Hinoba-an, Engr. Glicerio Cabatac from Kabankalan, Shiela Joan Bautista from the Provincial Government, Vinci Raymundo from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 6, Sheelamile Labrador from DENR EMB Region 6, and Mila Lourdes Tandoy from Pulupandan.

Celebrating Migrant Workers Day in Talisay City

On Friday, June 28, Mayor Neil Lizares and the Talisay City OFW Office celebrated Migrant Workers Day. The event, themed "Migranteng Talisaynon, Kamo ang Bida sa Gwapongaserbisyo," honored the important contributions of Talisay's Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). About 300 people, including OFWs and their families from 22 different OFW associations, gathered at the Talisay Public Plaza for the celebration.
