Talisay City Makes It to the Billionaire's Club, 2018 Annual Investment Program to Increase by 1.8% To Php 2.8 Billion

The Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Talisay approved in its 60th regular session Resolution 2017-120 approving the annual investment plan (AIP) for calendar year 2018 amounting to P 2,694,718,282.09
Those present in the committee hearing were SPMs Nicolai Jalandoni Zenia Astorga, Edmundo Celiz, Gabriel Villacin, Russo Fregil and members of the City Local Finance Committee chaired by Talisay City Mayor Neil E. Lizares.
The proponent of the said resolution is SPM Jose Nicolas V. Jalandoni III who chairs as well the SP Committee on Finance. Jalandoni motioned for approval of the P2.7 AIP budget and jointly seconded by Councilors Charles Amelo Ramon C. Lizares, Rolin Albert S. Meliton, William L. Malan, Ivan Randy T. Ereñeta, Angel Gabriel C. Villacin and Victor M. Fregil.

In a committee hearing prior to the regular session, SPM Jalandoni presented to Talisay City Mayor Neil Lizares and the local Finance Committee the proposed AIP that essayed the priority projects of the current administration for 2018 which encompass those under the General Public Service, social, economic and other services. Under the AIP are certain allocations for climate change adaptation and mitigation programs. The approved 2018 AIP was likewise endorsed by the City Development Council in its regular meeting last May 16, 2017 as per CDC Resolution No. 73 Series of 2017.
