Good news for Talisaynon job seekers who may want to join in the government service.
There are more than 700 unfilled permanent positions to be availed of, as the provincial government of Negros Occidental is restructuring its staffing pattern in all its offices.
There are still 1,500 vacant positions, that already have a budget.
This also developed as the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Negros Occidental passed an ordinance on its third and final reading for the restructuring of the organizational structure and staffing pattern of the Provincial Human Resource Management Office thereby amending Ordinance Number 010 series of 2014, pursuant to Section 468 (a) (viii) of RA 7160, or the Local Government Code of 1991, and providing funds therefore.
The ordinance calls for the upgrading of the Human Resource Management Office into a Division, and increasing its personnel from 23 to 38.
The payroll preparations of Capitol employees that is presently being done by each department will now be centralized at the HRMD.
