To provide Talisaynons College students with equitable resources, sustainable assistance and an improved access to quality education that would provide for opportunities in achieving their goals is one of the aims of the Expanded Scholarship Program of #gwapongaserbisyo.

Hence, to achieve this goal, Mayor Neil Lizares has allocated sustainable amount of fund to provide for all the educational needs of Talisaynon Scholars. In this program, scholars enjoy on-time refund of their school miscellaneous expenses and are given educational subsidy in the amount of 3,000.00 pesos every semester.

Today, a total of P375,000 was released by the City Government of Talisay for the 100 scholars from Carlos Hilado Memorial State College and 25 from the Technological University of the Philippines - Visayas receive their educational subsidy for the second semester, for school year 2018-2019.
