In behalf of City Mayor Neil Lizares, Assistant City Administrator Ismael Penado turned over cash assistance to 5 Talisay Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) returnees. Four of the beneficiaries received 20 thousand pesos for Balik Pinas Balik Hanap Buhay Program and one received 10 thousand pesos under Welfare Assistance Program.

The "Balik Pinas Balik Hanap Buhay" is a national program of the Duterte administration wherein financial assistance is given to beneficiaries as start up capital for their business.
