Turn-over of school equipments and learning materials to Don Simplicio Lizares National High School

Mayor Neil Lizares III turns-over this afternoon the requested school equipments and learning materials of Don Simplicio Lizares National High School (DSLNHS) as part of #gwapongaserbisyo’s Special Project for Talisay Schools, a priority program for Education which started out last year during Mayor Neil’s first term in office.

The 200,000 pesos worth requested special project includes 12 units 32" Xenon LED Television, 2 sets 15" EON passive Speaker System, a dining set and 1 unit Biometric machine.


This afternoon’s turned-over equipment and materials is part of the 2017 Local School Board allocation and for the year 2018, another 200,000 pesos is in store for DSLNHS for Special Project, this is on top of any infrastructure and logistical requests, Mayor Neil reminded the school audience.

With this year's increase in the City of Talisay's Internal Revenue Allotment, expect more sustainable and quality services for all Talisaynons, Mayor Neil told the Simplicians in his message.

The school faculty and staff headed by School Principal Dr. Randolph G. Aleman, DSLNHS Supreme Student President Jimmy Enriquez and PTA President Ma. Fe Apellido receive the items together with newly-elected Barangay Matab-ang Punong Barangay Manuel Apellido and Barangay Kagawad Rolando Adorias.

Also in attendance are Sangguniang Panlungsod Members Carl Lizares, Gabriel Villacin and Edmundo Celiz, Executive Assistants Dan Tribaco, Cirilo Ciocon and former Councilor Gorgonio “Junjun” Treyes III and Mr. Kenn Tirthdas.

The on-time release of the requested priority projects is made possible through the efforts of the Local School Board staff Lea Sastrado, the Office of Sangguniang Panlungsod Member Carl Lizares and the City Mayor's Office.
