THE 1st Mayor Neil Lizares Super Liga Basketball Tournament unfolds Sunday, July 23 at the Talisay City gym in Negros Occidental.

The event, which is part of the city’s upcoming charter celebration, will feature 10 teams from colleges, universities, government agencies and private companies.

These teams are the Abang Lingkod of Representative Stephen Paduano, the Patz/Big Boss of Coach Botsoy Solinap, Davies Paint mentored by Rhijun Lapu-os, the Miggies of Ryan Hugnatan, the Silay Selection/Computer Solution of Marlon Parreno; Team Gab of Talisay City Councilor Gabriel Villacin, University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Rams of Gherome Aledron, La Consolacion College Blue Panthers of Richie Militante, University of St. La Salle Stingers of Ryan Concha, and USLS-Integrated School Junior Stingers of Ryan Nabor.

The league will be supervised by Commissioners Mark Belangel and Vincent Setier to be officiated by the Negros Island Basketball Referees Association. (HGD)
