Due to Talisay City's proximity to Bacolod and the presence of excellent tertiary education, Talisay is poised to supply the labor and employment needs of business start-ups.

One such opportunity is 51talk, the largest online English education platform in the world with all of their clients are Chinese from mainland China.

Initially assigned to recruit 300 online teachers, 51Talk will tentatively be opened in July at the Negros First Cybercenter.
